Darrell Bohnert is the owner and founder of Bohnert Welding, a welding shop and farm equipment manufacturer in Jewell, KS. Darrell opened the welding shop in 1975 on the family farm. The shop produces hay and livestock handling equipment such as round bale feeds, corral panels, loading chutes, bale movers, trailers as well as custom made metal fabrication jobs.
Bohnert Welding takes pride in producing quality product and has shipped equipment as far away as Alaska.
Darrell is also a Pioneer Seed Representative in addition to owning and operating Bohnert Welding. He has over 40 years of experience that he offers to customers interested in seed or livestock equipment.
In 2014, Darrell and Debra welcomed their son Damon Bohnert into the family business. Damon graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Agronomy minoring in Business. Damon's knowledge of plants and soils as well as business adds great value to the family business.
